The DHOKRA is one of the earlist known method of metal casting. This crafts dates back to the pre-hisptoric time of Harappa and Mohanjo-Daro period of indus Valley Civilisation and is belived to be the oldest craft in India. The ancient art of cire-perdue or lost wax method of metal casting is practiced from last 200 years by the tribal people of Bastar, Chhattisgarh, India. Recycled brass and natural wax from beehive are the main raw materials used in making the craft. Our collection is acknowledged for its unique traditional and ethnic designs and are handicrafted by the finest crafts men of chhattisgarh, India.
